This shot was take from the top of Gray's Peak, a 14,278 foot peak in the Colorado Rockies. I began climbing this peak at 2 am on an August morning in an attempt to shoot from the top of the peak at sunrise - no easy feat but it was one of the greatest sunrises I've ever witnesses. This is a panoramic of 3 photos stitched together. At the far right, the sun rises over Denver in the far distance. To the left, a trail that traces its way over the saddle from Gray's to Torrey's Peak, another 14er.
3% of the profits from each sale will be donated to the Wilderness Society to help fund wilderness conservation projects.
