Private Workshops and Tours

Whether you’re just starting out or looking to refine advanced skills, I offer private, hands-on workshops designed to help you grow as a photographer in a focused and personalized setting.

I currently offer 1:1 or 2:1 private workshops throughout my beautiful home state of Color, tailored to your goals, interests, and schedule. These range from 1/2 day tours to multi-day tours (see below). 

Field-based instruction is one of the most effective ways to strengthen both your technical abilities and artistic vision. Each workshop is built around your experience level and learning objectives. Topics may include mastering natural light and composition, working effectively with weather and conditions, or diving into advanced techniques like focus stacking, exposure blending, and long exposure shooting. If desired, we can also include post-processing sessions to round out your learning and workflow.

As we explore, I’ll also share insights into Colorado’s deep geologic past, its living ecosystems, and the forces that have shaped its iconic landscapes. It’s like having your own naturalist interpret the terrain as you photograph it—offering context, meaning, and connection that goes far beyond the frame.

No matter where you’re at on your photographic journey, these private workshops are designed to be immersive, flexible, and above all—transformative.
